Truth or Dare with Adam Cvijanovic

In artcore journal’s “Truth or Dare” series developed for the artcore (b)log participants choose between two groupings of statement questions. Contributors can answer Truth, which directly poses; Past? Present? and Future? or Dare, which bluntly asks; Regrets? Status? and Dreams? The interviews aspire to open up candid platforms for cultural thinkers to contemplate and respond to a broad range of complex, imaginative, personal, controversial, and/or analytical, etc. forces of time and space that correlate with their own “Truth or Dare” experiences in a myriad of contemporary art practices.

Adam Cvijanovic was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He has had the recent solo exhibitions “Defrosted: A Life of Walt Disney” at Postmasters Gallery, NYC (2010) “Natural History” at Postmasters Gallery, NYC (2012) and “Rolling Panorama Number 1” Moot Gallery, Hong Kong (2013). Cvijanovic has also been included in the major group exhibitions “Prospect.1 Biennial” New Orleans, LA (2008), “The Sixth Borough” Governors Island, NY (2010), “Alpine Desire” Austrian Cultural Forum, NY (2011), “18th Biennale of Sydney” Sydney, Australia (2012), “American Dreamers” Strozzina Center for Contemporary Culture at Palazzo Strozzi, Firenze, Italy (2012), and “The Golden Ass: 4 Painters from New York” Blindarte Contemporanea, Naples, Itality (2013) to note a select few. Cvijanovic lives and works in New York.
